Tube nuts, also known as Short Nuts, are used in automotive hydraulic brake, fuel, and transmission systems to make connections between tubing. For installation, the nut is placed over the tubing with the threaded end directed towards the flared end. When tightened, the tube flare will be tightly clamped between the nut and flare seat. AGS Fittings produce Tube Nuts, Unions (Couplers), and Adapters for both SAE Inverted Double Flare and ISO Bubble Flare connections used in domestic and foreign vehicles. These components come in various packaging options such as retail clamshells, bulk boxed sets, and plastic trays.
